About the race
Run Wild Races XI at the Metro Richmond Zoo in Moseley, Virginia, offers three events: Mini 1 Mile, 5k, and Wild Ninja. Runners explore the Zoo grounds, with wildlife sightings along the route. The 5k is an all-terrain course that runs through the zoo and around its perimeter, while the Mini 1 Mile is a family-friendly dash, and the Wild Ninja adds obstacle-course excitement.
A Ninja Full Access Spectator option lets supporters accompany participants on a 2-mile trail. After finishing, participants receive free Zoo entry, and spectators enjoy a 10% discount on zoo tickets. The event celebrates the vulnerable lion with a playful, community atmosphere.
