Event details
The Run with Heart 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 5400 Windhaven Parkway, Plano, TX 75093. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Virtual 5K Run/Walk
In-person entry is listed at $40, with a reduced rate of $25 for ages 7-12. The in-person event is open to ages 7 and up and shows 225 spots remaining; the in-person price increases after January 14, 2026. The virtual entry fee is $25 and virtual registration closes on February 14, 2026.
Participant information and charity
All registered participants receive a T-shirt and a bib with a transponder chip. Awards will be given to the top three finishers in each age group and to overall top three. Packet pickup is scheduled for Thursday, February 12 and Friday, February 13, with additional pickup available on race morning at the registration table; the pickup location is listed as TBD.
The event benefits Little Hearts, a non-profit in Dallas that plans to provide childcare for children with heart defects and complex medical needs. The organizer states that 100% of donations will fund the Little Hearts Childcare Foundation for facility costs, trained staff, medical equipment, furniture, and toys.
