The Run with Joy event is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, 2026, in Albuquerque, NM. The start and finish are at Canteen Brewhouse, 2381 Aztec Rd NE. The course is an out-and-back route that primarily follows the North Diversion Channel Trail. Distances offered:
- Half marathon
- 5K
Logistics
Aid stations will be available: one at the halfway point of the 5K and several along the half marathon course. Restrooms will be available at the start and finish. Registration for either distance includes a t-shirt and a pint of beer; half marathon finishers will receive a medal. Root beer will be provided for participants under 21 and for non-beer drinkers. Professional timing is provided by Feral Adventures. There will be live music, food, and a post-race raffle open to all finishers; bib numbers will serve as raffle numbers. Packet pickup is Friday, March 27 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Canteen Brewhouse; registrants who register before March 1, 2026 are guaranteed a shirt in their selected size at packet pickup. Prices increase after January 31, 2026. Must be 21 to receive the complimentary beer; minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The race course will be open until 12:00 PM. Day-of registration and packet pickup are available but a shirt is not guaranteed for day-of registrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
