Run With Shears
Run With Shears is an annual running event held in Indianapolis, Indiana, hosted by the Indiana EMS Memorial Foundation. The event features a USATF-sanctioned, fast and flat 5k run/walk course along the scenic Downtown Canal near the Indiana State Museum Lawn. It honors EMS professionals, firefighters, and police officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty, with proceeds supporting a memorial addition for EMTs and paramedics.
The event welcomes runners and walkers of all abilities, including children and strollers. A Kid's 911 Yard Dash is also offered for children 12 and under. Participants receive a soft T-shirt, custom finisher medal, and bib with timing.
