The Run with the Wolves 5K and 1 Mile takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School - Middle Campus, 820 Essie Avenue, Atlanta, GA 30316. The event is organized by the school’s PTCA and the Wolves of Atlanta Neighborhood Charter School and has been held since 2012. Dogs are not allowed at the event.

The race is an Atlanta-Journal Constitution Peachtree Road Race qualifier. Awards will be given to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers in the listed categories. 1 Mile award categories include Pre K and several youth age groups. 5K awards include overall, overall masters 40+, and multiple age-group categories.
Registration and logistics
Registration opens January 6, 2026. Registration pricing varies by period and affiliation: early, regular, last call, and race day pricing are specified for ANCS students/parents/staff and the general public, with 5K fees ranging from $25 to $45 and 1 Mile fees ranging from $20 to $40 depending on the period. Participants who register by April 17, 2026 are guaranteed a limited edition 2026 event t-shirt; later registrants receive shirts while inventory lasts.
Pre-registered bib and shirt pickup is scheduled on April 30 and May 1 at ANCS elementary and middle campuses. Race-day registration and bib/shirt pickup begin at 7:15 AM and end at 8:00 AM.
