Run Your Bass Off
Run Your Bass Off is an inaugural 5K run/walk event held in Stanford, Illinois, supporting the Olympia Bass Fishing Team, a youth group dedicated to teaching fishing, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The event features a 5K race and a 1-mile untimed walk, with awards for top male and female overall finishers and age group categories ranging from 9 and under to 80+. Participants are encouraged to stay after the race to enjoy Stanford’s Good Old Days Festival, which includes food and craft vendors, live music, a parade, car show, pool games, pony rides, a petting zoo, a foam party, and a grand fireworks display.
