RunB4Wine 5K : Round Lake Vineyards, Round Lake, MN
The RunB4Wine 5K is a community 5-kilometer event on 2025-09-28 at Round Lake Vineyards and Winery. The event welcomes running, jogging, walking and strollers and is described as family and dog friendly. No packet pick-up is required. The course uses a mix of pavement and gravel/dirt/grass trails and runs along the Round Lake lakeshore. One water station is located along the route.
Competition, awards and post-race details
Medals are awarded to the overall first-place male and female finishers in three age categories: child (<18), adult (18-55) and senior (>55). After the event, attendees age 21 and over are offered a free glass of wine; the winery’s full selection will also be available for purchase. RunB4Wine merchandise is sold at the venue. A lakeside worship sunrise service is offered on the event day.
All proceeds benefit the Big Brave PICU fund, which assists families of chronically ill children at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. The event is held in memory of a baby who suffered liver failure caused by a rare enterovirus. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
