Event information
Run For Your Lives is a road and trail event held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Ludington. The event is open to runners and walkers of any age. Registration includes a race tee and a finisher medal. Early packet pickup is Friday, October 24 at LOTUS. Race day packet pickup is at Hoyt's Next Door. Registration fee is $35 in advance and $40 on race day. The start and finish are at James and Court.

The 5k course runs on road and paved paths. The 10k includes road sections and loops through the trails of Cartier Park; a portion of the 10k is off road. Dogs and strollers are allowed. The course is marked with color-coded arrows, volunteers, cones, and tape, but participants should note the route can include wrong turns.
Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers in Overall, Masters (40-59), and Grand Masters (60+) categories. Age group awards are given by decade. Awards are presented after the race at Hoyt's Next Door. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
