Runnin' of the Green

The Runnin' of the Green, presented by the YMCA of Greater Rochester, is an annual 5-mile race that marks the unofficial start of the racing season in Rochester, NY. Celebrating its 27th year, the event features a scenic out-and-back course along the Genesee River. Participants can choose to run in person or virtually, with all registrants receiving a race medal, a long-sleeve shirt, and access to themed post-race snacks and beverages.
