Running Goals 5k

The Running Goals 5k is a community-focused 5K run/walk event held in Rural Valley, Pennsylvania, in partnership with the Shannock Valley Community Festival. Organized by the Armstrong East Soccer Club, the race supports youth soccer programs through fundraising. The course follows a traditional route starting at the community park entrance, proceeding along Main Street toward Numine, reaching a midway point, and returning along the same path.

Participants benefit from several water stations on the route, with snacks and water available at the finish. Awards are presented for top finishers by age group and overall male and female categories. Pre-registrants by July 6 receive a free t-shirt.
