The Running of the Turkeys - West Deptford takes place on November 27, 2025, at RiverWinds Community Center, 1000 RiverWinds Dr., West Deptford, NJ 08096. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K - Turkey Trot
- 2-mile - Wobble Walk
Entry fees listed for the event are $25 for the 5K ($15 for ages 1-11) and $20 for the 2-mile walk ($10 for ages 1-11). The 5K will be chip-timed. The event is held rain or shine.
Logistics and awards
Organizers request pre-registration by November 26, 2025 in order to participate. Race bibs and optional t-shirts (if purchased) will be available for pick-up on Wednesday, November 26 (evening) and on race morning at RiverWinds Community Center. Optional long-sleeve shirts are available for purchase only through Thursday, November 20; shirts will not be sold on race day and will not be mailed after the event.
Medals will be awarded to first, second, and third place male and female overall finishers and for age groups: 13 & under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. The event will collect non-perishable food items for the Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministries Food Bank. Plenty of parking is available at RiverWinds Community Center.
