About the race
Running Scared 5K/13K in Dawsonville, GA (Rock Creek Park) is a Halloween-themed race weekend by Five Star NTP scheduled for October 18, 2025. Participants choose the Scaredy Cat 5K or Heart Pounding 13K (with No Shirt options) or the Deadly Double, plus virtual versions. The course is a flat, inside-Rock Creek Park route (5K is certified), with water stations about every 1.5 miles and a spectator-friendly atmosphere.
Prizes include finisher medals, shirts, and top finishers in multiple age groups and master divisions; plus a best-costume prize.
