About the race
Running Scared is Charlotte’s Halloween-themed running event offering a 5K and a Monster Mile, hosted at MOTION Fitness in Charlotte (2101 Rexford Rd, 28211). The course travels through and around the South Park area, described as relatively flat with small hills and city-road terrain, making it spectator-friendly. The event emphasizes costumes, with a costume contest and prizes, plus a post‑run expo and entertainment including food trucks and music.
