Running with the Big Dogs 5k Run

Running with the Big Dogs 5k Run and 2 mile Dog Stroll takes place at 500 Ackerman Drive, Porter, IN 46304. The event offers a 5k run and a 2-mile dog stroll, inviting runners to bring leashed dogs (6 ft max). Dogs must have current rabies vaccination; puppies six months or younger and females in heat are not allowed, and unruly dogs may be asked to leave.

The race is part of the Crazy Legs Race Series (CLRS), which promotes non-pavement and pavement races in Northwest Indiana, and features a low-key, fun yet challenging course designed in parks across Lake, Porter, and Laporte counties.
