Runs With Scissors Races

Runs With Scissors Races take place in the spring at Riverdale Regional Park in Brighton, Colorado, just north of Denver. The event offers a Half Marathon, Marathon, and 50K Ultra Marathon, all run on a 1.31-mile loop course, with the half marathon covering 10 laps, the marathon 20 laps, and the 50K 24 laps. Runners benefit from guaranteed restrooms and aid stations every loop, plus additional facilities along the course.

Finishers receive a race-specific wicking beanie, a custom scissors-shaped medal with their name on the ribbon, and a 16-ounce pub-style glass. Virtual race options are also available.
