Safe Journeys Color Run

The Safe Journeys Color Run 2025 is a family-friendly 5K event held in Streator, Illinois, starting and finishing at Twister Hill Park near Streator High School. The course follows the scenic Hopalong Cassidy Trail. The first 0.7 miles of the route feature a colorful fun run where participants are doused with color, after which the remaining distance is for 5K runners only.

The race is non-competitive and untimed, welcoming all ages and abilities. Registration includes a t-shirt and water, with proceeds supporting survivors of sexual and domestic violence in LaSalle and Livingston Counties.
