Sage Burner Trail Run

Nestled in the Rocky Mountains, Sage Burner Trail Race takes place at Hartman Rocks Recreation Area in Gunnison, Colorado. Runners choose from 50K, 28K, and 15K distances through sagebrush hills, technical slickrock, smooth singletrack and fast doubletrack. The course features rolling hills and punchy climbs against a high-desert backdrop, with 360-degree views of the Maroon Bells, San Juan Mountains, and the Gunnison Basin.

A Youth Trail Running Initiative partnership supports the 15K, and the race promotes cupless racing, with a finisher medal and BOCO Gear hat for all finishers. Proceeds benefit Gunnison Trails. Registration is online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
