Event overview
The 2025 Sallarulo's Race for Champions 20th Anniversary is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Fort Lauderdale, FL (33314). The primary event is a 5K Run/Walk held at the Carl DeSantis Building, Nova Southeastern University, 3301 College Ave. The listed entry fee for the 5K is $45. Registration opens November 8, 2025.
Logistics and amenities
The 5K will use chip timing with a disposable timing tag affixed to the back of the bib. Runners are asked to keep their bib visible on the front of the torso, unaltered, and pinned at all four corners; pins are included in the race packet. Race packet pick-up is to be announced. Parking on race day is free courtesy of Nova Southeastern University, with garage parking available near Ray Ferraro Jr. Blvd; due to street closures related to the course, vehicles may not be able to exit the lot until runners and walkers have cleared portions of the route. Finisher medals will be given to all registered runners and walkers. After the run/walk there will be a vendor area in the courtyard with sponsor giveaways, breakfast items from caterers, pancakes provided by the Knights of Columbus, and family activities such as face painting and live music.
