The Salt Lake City Marathon takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Salt Lake City, Utah (451 S 200 E, 84111). The course starts at the Olympic Legacy Bridge, passes city landmarks including Temple Square, runs near the Wasatch Mountains, and finishes in downtown Salt Lake City. Race details
Entry fees listed for the event include $90 for the full marathon, $80 for the half marathon, $45 for the 10K, $35 for the 5K, and $10 for the Kids K. Registration for these events opens on August 29, 2025. Age limits shown are 14+ for the full marathon, 12+ for the half marathon, and 10 and under for the Kids K. Runners receive a premium T-shirt, a finisher medal, and a bib with timing chip; courses are fully supported and the event features a post-race festival with food, beverages, music and activities. The University of Utah Health is the title sponsor, Bank of America is a presenting sponsor, and the Huntsman Cancer Institute is the event beneficiary; the Huntsman Heroes program directs 100 percent of funds raised to research and clinical work and has raised more than $6 million since 2003.
