The Turkey Chase is a free, registered children’s event where participants meet behind the municipal building and chase a person in a turkey costume. The 5K is open to ages 1 to 99.
Entry, logistics and awards
Registration is required and the overall event is limited to 350 participants. The listed entry fee for the 5K is $20; the Turkey Chase is free. Swag is limited: swag bags are guaranteed to the first 150 registrants and T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 250 registrants. A free race shirt is offered to early entries (first 250 entrants who register by the stated cutoff).
Results are published live online during the event and finishers receive an instant email notification when they cross the line. Awards include first through third place overall for male and female, masters first place male and female (over 40), and youth age-group recognitions; age-group winner certificates are emailed for the listed adult age brackets.
