The Santa Anita Derby Day 5K is scheduled for April 4, 2026, at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California (285 W. Huntington Ave). The course runs through the Los Angeles Arboretum and finishes on the Santa Anita Race Track. The event features multiple race options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- 6-furlong kids race (ages 7–12)
- Homestretch Dash for kids (ages 6 and under)

Entry for the 5K is listed at $43.56 (includes a $5.56 fee), with youth and senior pricing applied where applicable: $35.02 for ages 0–17 and $41.42 for ages 65–110. Kids races are listed at $19 (includes a $4 fee). Prices increase after November 30, 2025. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. Participants receive a finisher medal, an official event shirt, and chip timing. All participants receive complimentary admission and parking to the Derby Day horse races.
