Santa Claus For A Cause 5K/10K
The event takes place Saturday, December 6, 2025 at Bolsa Chica State Beach, Lot 25, Huntington Beach, CA 92648. The race weekend includes adult and youth running events with a holiday theme featuring falling snow, live carolers, festive music and photo opportunities with Santa.

Event details
Chip-timed results are provided for the 5K and 10K. Registered participants choose one item of race apparel as swag: a full Santa suit, a Santa beanie, or a custom race shirt. Finishers receive a custom Santa-themed medal that is designed to double as a Christmas ornament. Age-division awards are three-deep in five-year increments from ages 1-10 through 85+. Additional prizes are listed for Best Costume, Best Christmas Spirit, and Best Dressed Dog.
Logistics include an early packet pick-up on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at Road Runner Sports in Costa Mesa and race day packet pick-up at Lot 25. Parking at Lot 25 is $15 per vehicle; free public parking is available in Sunset Beach (behind Jack in the Box). Restrooms are located on each end of Lot 25. Strollers are allowed; participants must keep to the right and use them at their own risk. Pets are allowed if leashed (5 ft or less) and accompanied by a registered run/walk participant.
