About the race
Santa Runs Tacoma, hosted by the Tacoma City Marathon Association, takes place in Downtown Tacoma, Washington, with three race options: Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K. All events start and finish in downtown. The Half Marathon features a scenic out-and-back course along the waterfront, connecting to Ruston Way Path, Point Ruston Waterwalk, and Dune Peninsula Park, with views from the Wilson Way Bridge before returning.
The 10K follows the same route in an out-and-back format; the 5K provides a family-friendly 3.1-mile option. Finisher medals, a festive beanie, and optional shirts celebrate the holidays. A portion of proceeds benefits the Humane Society of Tacoma & Pierce County.
