Scarecrow 2.0 takes place on Saturday, November 15, 2025, in Exeter, CA (333 S D Street, Exeter, CA 93221). The event is the town's fifth annual Scarecrow 2.0. The race starts at Exeter City Park and the course passes through downtown alongside seasonal scarecrow displays. Event formats include:
- 2 Mile Run/Walk
- 10K Run/Walk
- Kids Dash (ages 1-5)
- Kids Dash (ages 6-10)
- Virtual 2 mile
- Virtual 10K

Participant amenities listed by the organizer include a finisher medal, finisher certificate with chip timing, free race photos, a Scarecrow 2.0 T-shirt, and a Svenhard's danish for finishers. Additional features are free drinks, a costume contest with prizes for top entries, a live DJ in the park, and a large team contest. Age group awards are planned for male and female finishers in these ranges: 0-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+. A VIP brunch option is available at Cafe Lafayette, located two blocks from the race; brunch tickets are listed at $38. A portion of event funds and donations will be given to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Sequoias.
