About the race
ScaryAss 25K/14K/4K is a low-key trail race in Olympia, Washington, starting and finishing at Fall Creek Day Use Area in Capitol Forest. Organizers offer three distances: a grueling 25K to Capitol Peak and back, a scenic 14K loop, and a family-friendly 4K along mountain-bike trails. The 25K features a relentless climb to the peak followed by a downhill return; the 14K uses a lovely single-track loop; the 4K adds playful whoop-de-dos.
