Scenic Byway River Run
The Scenic Byway River Run in Belle Plaine, Minnesota, is a well-established event celebrating its 15th year in 2025. It features a Half Marathon, a 2-person Half Marathon Relay, a 5K, and a Kids Fun Run. The half marathon course is USATF certified and chip timed, taking runners through downtown Belle Plaine, across the Minnesota River, and along Minnesota’s Scenic Byway with rolling hills, eagle sightings, and scenic countryside views.
The 5K also offers a lively route through town. The Kids Fun Run is a half-mile course suitable for children, with parents encouraged to join. Participants receive medals and shirts, and the event is supported by local volunteers and emergency services.
