Scotland's Washed Out Bridge Endurance Challenge
Scotland's Washed Out Bridge Endurance Challenge is a unique running event held in Scotland, Connecticut. Participants have two hours to complete as many out-and-back loops as possible along a one-mile course that starts at 47 Brook Road, crosses a one-lane temporary bridge, and reaches the washed-out bridge before returning. Runners must complete at least one loop, with volunteers marking bibs after each lap.
The event takes place in the evening, encouraging runners to wear neon for visibility. The challenge was created while waiting for damaged bridges to be replaced, offering a community-focused endurance experience in a scenic small-town setting.
