The Seahorse Skedaddle takes place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at North Lakes Park in Denton, TX. The event is organized by Run Different and includes in-person and virtual options. Race-day awards will be handed out at the event and will not be shipped.

Registration fees listed on the event page include a free Kid's Dash entry, a $35 5K fee, a $18 1 Mile fee, and a $40 virtual option fee. The 1 Mile event is untimed and does not have age group awards. Participation in the 5K and 1 Mile includes an event t-shirt and a finisher medal; registrants are advised to register by December 27 to guarantee t-shirt size. Age group awards for the 5K are given four deep across male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall and masters category medals are also listed. Volunteers receive a code for a free race entry as a thank you. Run Different donates a portion of proceeds and donations to Encounter Church (Fate).
