Courses and logistics
The half marathon starts and finishes at the Melton Lake Park peninsula. The route runs along Melton Lake, passes an operational quarry, follows a tree-lined private road, goes through Oak Ridge, and finishes at the water's edge. The half marathon is USATF certified, certification number TN15066MS.
The 5K starts and finishes at the Melton Lake Park peninsula, follows the lake to Elza Gate Park, then returns along the walking trail. The 5K is USATF certified, certification number TN15077MS.
Packet pick up is Thursday, November 13, 4:00-7:00 pm at the Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce, 1400 Oak Ridge Turnpike, and race morning on site from 7:30-8:45 am. Virtual participants have November 15-29 to complete their run; race swag for virtual entries will be mailed after November 29. In-person registration prices increase after October 31, 2025.
