Semper Fi Half

2025 Semper Fi 5k & Half is a scenic running event in Georgetown, Washington, DC, along the Chesapeake & Ohio Canal path. It offers two distances: a half marathon and a 5k. The half marathon begins and ends in Georgetown near the Potomac Boat Club; the 5k begins and ends at Fletcher’s Boathouse.

The courses are out-and-back on a light gravel/dirt canal path with minimal elevation changes. Walkers are welcome, and there is a virtual option. Runners earn a finisher’s medal, a technical shirt, and chip timing, with live results posted after the race.
