Sentinel Hill Climb

The Sentinel Hill Climb is Missoula’s longest-running trail race, held on the University of Montana campus. This challenging event features a steep 1.6-mile course with nearly 2,000 feet of elevation gain, starting at the ‘M’ trail parking lot and finishing at the summit of Mount Sentinel. The race atmosphere is energetic and community-focused, with post-race treats like Big Dipper Ice Cream at the M-Trailhead amphitheater.
