Shamong Turkey Trot

The 3rd Annual Shamong Turkey Trot is a festive running event held in Shamong, New Jersey, featuring a 5K run and a 1-mile fun run/walk. The 5K course starts and finishes at Indian Mills Memorial School, winding through local roads including Old Indian Mills Road, Grassy Lake, Stokes Road, and Oakshade. The 1-mile event consists of five laps around the school's circular driveway.

Both races offer finisher medals, with special Thanksgiving pies awarded to the first male and female finishers. The event fosters a community atmosphere, supports local Girl Scout projects, and includes warm-up sessions and live online race results.
