Sharsheret West Coast Dash – Dockweiler Beach, Playa del Rey, CA
The Sharsheret West Coast Dash is an annual run/walk on October 11, 2026 at Dockweiler Beach in Playa del Rey, California. The event supports Sharsheret’s breast and ovarian cancer programs and includes an on-site Event Festival and a virtual option. The event is open to all ages and welcomes strollers.

The 5K and 10K races are chip timed. Race entry tickets for the 5K and 10K include a race t-shirt and a finisher’s medal. Family Fun Race entry includes a race t-shirt and a medal. Virtual race tickets purchased by August 27 will receive a race t-shirt by mail.
Registration, fees and fundraising
Published entry prices are: 5K $70, 10K $80, Family Fun Race $36, Virtual Race $36. Prices exclude processing fees and will increase periodically until September 8. A suggested donation of $360 is listed; donations above entry value may be tax-deductible. Teams and individuals can earn trophies and prizes in categories such as top fundraisers, best costume, largest team, and synagogue or school with the most racers. Packet pickup is planned at Fleet Feet Encino and a LA Metro pickup location. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
