Shawangunk Ridge Trail Run (SRT)
The Shawangunk Ridge Trail Run (SRT) is a challenging trail running event held in Rosendale, New York, featuring three race distances: a 70-mile ultra, a 30-mile race, and a half marathon. The course follows the scenic Shawangunk Ridge, a 70-mile trail extending from New Jersey to New York, known for its rugged terrain, white conglomerate cliffs, wetlands, dwarf pine barrens, waterfalls, and expansive views spanning five states. The event celebrates the preservation of this unique ridgeline and offers distinctive tech shirts, finisher medals, and special awards.
Participants must be self-sufficient, carrying their own supplies, as the race is unsupported with no aid stations or pacers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
