She ROCKS Run

She ROCKS Run takes place in Wilmington, North Carolina at Long Leaf Park. The event offers a 5K Run/Walk (timed) and a 1.5 Mile Fun Run/Walk (not timed). The entirely park-based course is marked and mostly flat, running along the park’s walking paths with scenic views of ponds, trees and flowers; it's stroller-friendly and supported by volunteer crossing guards at intersections.

The race supports ovarian cancer awareness and research, honoring a local teen’s mother. Registered participants can earn a race shirt if they sign up by the date.
