Shiprock Marathon : May 1–2, 2026
The event is held in Shiprock, New Mexico, with the Shiprock Youth Center as the race hub. Multiple race options are offered, including the following:

The marathon course is USATF certified and serves as a Boston qualifier and a qualifier for the Abbott Marathon Majors Masters World Championships. The course is an out-and-back road route with views of Shiprock Pinnacle and a long gentle downhill on the return.
Race details and services
Aid stations are available every mile on the marathon and half marathon and include Honey Stinger gels, fresh fruit, Gatorade, water, and other snacks. Portajohns and medical support are provided along the course and at the finish. Results and timing are handled by Rocky Mountain Timing, with results posted via QR codes and online; awards are based on gun time.
All marathon and half marathon finishers receive a medal. Overall and age-group awards are given to the top three in 5-year age increments. The 5K includes a team competition scored like cross country and requires five members to qualify for team awards. Some charity entries have registration fees waived with specified fundraising commitments. Packet pick-up is at the Shiprock Youth Center parking lot.
