Shoreline Turkey Trot 5K
The Shoreline Turkey Trot is a 5K held on November 27, 2025, at the Savin Rock Conference Center (on the beach side), 6 Rock St., West Haven, CT. The event is planned to run rain or shine. The course is flat along the beach on the Savin Rock Boardwalk, with coastal breezes and no cars on the boardwalk. The event includes a food drive for W.H.E.A.T., a local food pantry that distributes food to 5,000 households, including 1,000 school-aged children.
Logistics and services
Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable; fees include processing charges. On race day cards are not accepted; organizers accept cash and checks. Bib and shirt pickup is available on race morning; participants must know their bib number or use the self-lookup area. Participants are asked to bring photo ID.
All entrants receive short sleeve cotton race shirts. Results are provided live and by text or email, and finish line photos and same-day video are free. Awards consist of custom pint pilsner glass awards for the top 3 men and top 3 women overall, and top 3 men and women in age groups: 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+.
