SIDS Awareness 5k

The SIDS Awareness 5k Run/Walk takes place in Saint Marys, Ohio, featuring a scenic 5K route along the St. Marys River, Memorial Park, and KC Geiger. This easy course is designed for participants of all levels and aims to raise awareness about Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and its prevention.

The event honors Landen Philpot, who passed away from SIDS at three months old. All proceeds support the Landen Philpot Nursing Scholarship, which awards two $1,000 scholarships annually to local students pursuing nursing degrees with a focus on obstetrics or pediatrics.
