Silver Heist Walk/Run 5K

The First Annual Silver Heist Walk/Run 5K & Little Bandits Bolt takes place in Orwell, Vermont, celebrating the town’s rich history with a themed 5K race and a kids’ sprint event. The 5K course features a historic narrative, starting with a conch shell blast and including a midway stop at the bandits’ camp where participants collect a wooden token. The race finishes at the town green with community support.

The winner receives $30 in silver, echoing a famous 1862 heist. The event also offers virtual race options for all ages.
