Course and race logistics

The course is a 2.25 mile loop run in alternating directions each lap (forward first lap, then reverse, and so on). It is mostly single track through the woods with a few paved road crossings and about 166 feet of elevation gain per lap. Laps are recorded manually with pen and paper at the start/finish; participants must ensure volunteers have checked their lap before continuing.

Finishers who complete their distance within the stated time limits receive event gift items: hooded sweatshirt and trucker hat for the 806, trucker cap for the 314, and long sleeve tee and trucker hat for relay teams. Awards are given to Male and Female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd for the 314 and 806; 1st overall for relay teams. Aid station at the start/finish will provide water, coffee, and snacks; additional food may be available and participants may bring contributions.
