Sky Trail Adventure Challenge
The Sky Trail Adventure Challenge is an outdoor adventure race held in Pawhuska and Bartlesville, Oklahoma, organized by the Cherokee Area Council Scouts BSA. Participants aged 18 and over engage in a multi-activity course that includes running, climbing a 24-foot tower, ziplining across Sand Creek, crossing a suspension bridge, kayaking 0.75 miles on the creek, and additional trail running. The event emphasizes safety with certified volunteers and staggered starts.
It celebrates the Osage Nation heritage, offering scenic views above the trees. Entry includes a native plant, and finishers receive brandable Scout-themed medals. Camping is available, and the race supports youth development programs in Northeast Oklahoma. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
