Slickville Coal Mine Climb 5k
The Slickville Coal Mine Climb 5k is a challenging race held in Slickville, Pennsylvania, featuring a backcountry course with several hills culminating in a climb up a slate mound past the iconic Slickville sign overlooking the town. Alongside the 5k run, there is a gentler 2-mile walk through town and the Westmoreland Heritage Trail, allowing walkers to watch runners reach the summit.
