Smile-A-Mile 5K

The Smile-A-Mile (SAM) 5K is a fundraising running event held in downtown Birmingham, Alabama, starting and finishing at SAM Place. The event includes an in-person 5K race, a 1-mile fun run, and virtual 5K options allowing participants to run or walk remotely or even sleep in while supporting the cause. Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Smile-A-Mile provides year-round programs for children with cancer and their families.
