The Smoky Bear Turkey Chase is a 5K road race scheduled for Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Sevierville, Tennessee, at Sevier County High School (1200 Dolly Parton Parkway). The event benefits the Sevier County High School Foundation and a STEM scholarship. Packet pickup is available the day before at the SCHS football stadium and on race morning at Sevier County High School. The race course and exact start spot are listed as TBD; the course will close 1 hour and 15 minutes after the shot gun start. Strollers are allowed and only service dogs are permitted on course. The event will be held rain, snow, sleet, or shine.
Registration, awards, and amenities
Registration prices increase by date, with early registration listed at $43.40 (includes a $3.40 fee) and higher tiers in November; a final registration price is noted for race day. No refunds are offered. All pre-registered participants will receive a custom race beanie and a participation medallion on race day; registrations made after November 20 are not guaranteed. Race day registrants receive beanies and medallions as supplies last and bags will not be mailed. Awards are planned for overall winners and multiple age divisions, and refreshments will be provided following the race. A course map is noted as new this year.
