Course, format and services
The event uses a 2.62-mile loop run on paved paths and sidewalks through a former golf course and preserve area. The venue description notes features such as wooden bridges, water features, riverfront views, and 240 acres of parkland. An athlete village is located near the start/finish where runners may set up canopies or drop bags; parking is noted as being about 150 meters from the staging area.
Laps are timed: each 2.62-mile loop must be completed within 45 minutes and runners must wait until the full 45-minute lap interval before starting the next lap. Aid is available at the start/finish with snacks and drinks (water, electrolyte drink options, and soda); participants should bring their own cup. Relay rules allow teams of two to four, with limits on maximum laps per runner by team size. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
