SoCal's Pirate's 5k/10k Run/Walk takes place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at Long Beach Shoreline Park, 212 Golden Shore, Long Beach, CA 90802. The event includes the following distances:

- The Pirate’s 1-Mile Race
- Kids Fun Run
Entry fees are listed for each event and fees increase after May 9, 2026. Early packet pickup is available at Sports Basement in Long Beach (location: 2100 N Bellflower Blvd).
Course, awards and event features
The course is a paved path along the beach with ocean views. The organizer describes it as flat and fast and wide enough for strollers; dogs are allowed if leashed and users of the path are asked to stay to the right. Parking is available at the structure across the Aquarium of the Pacific.
Every participant receives a custom-designed pirate-themed finisher medal, a pirate-themed event T-shirt, and a custom race bib. Timing is chip-timed by Itz About Time. Awards include trophies for the top three overall male and female finishers and age division awards in five-year spans up to 85 and over. The event program also lists pirate-themed entertainment, a fencing demonstration, music, a mass crowd photo, a selfie booth, and fundraising to benefit Miss Pam's Ranch with a stated goal of $4,950 to purchase a wheelchair-accessible restroom trailer.
