Soles for Souls 5k

The Soles for Souls 5k, formerly known as Hustle for the Homeless, is an annual running event held in Denver, North Carolina, at Sally's YMCA (1601 Forney Creek Pkwy). Scheduled for October 25, 2025, the event features a 5k timed race, a 5k non-timed run/walk, and a kids fun run for children 12 and under. The course combines hard surfaces and trail systems and is not stroller-friendly.

Proceeds support homeless and indigent individuals in Lincoln County through advocacy and essential services. Participants aged 13 and older receive swag bags and medals, with awards for fastest runners. Packet pickup is available the day before at Lake Norman Brewery.
