Sombrero Sizzler

The Sombrero Sizzler is an annual timed endurance running event held in Jacksonville, Florida, at the Argyle Spartans Football Field on a former military base, Cecil Field. Participants run or walk on a flat, fast 1.25-mile loop featuring mostly asphalt and concrete surfaces with a short grassy section, shaded by pine trees for much of the course. The event offers multiple distance options: 3, 6, 9, or 12 hours, plus a 6-hour relay for teams of up to four runners of any gender.
