Purpose and logistics
Proceeds support the Nicole Podkowa Patient & Caregiver Fund, which provides financial assistance for patients and families receiving treatment at Southcoast Health Cancer Care. The fund helps with utility payments, food, housing, transportation, cancer-related supplies, and other necessities. Virtual participants will not receive bib numbers for the in-person event.
The event is organized as a cup-free race; water-filling stations will be available at the staging area and on the course, and participants must bring their own cup or water bottle.
