Southside Scramble

Southside Scramble is Atlanta’s only intown trail race, held at Southside Park (3460 Jonesboro Rd SE, Atlanta 30354). The roughly 10-mile course winds through pine- and hardwood-shaded forests just inside the Perimeter, featuring looping singletrack, roller-coaster descents, gravel stream crossings, powerline climbs, rock hazards, marsh passings, and wildlife sightings. The atmosphere emphasizes a local, community vibe, with runners racing in a setting “right in their back yards.” Proceeds benefit MTB Atlanta and the Southside Park trail builders, supporting the creation and stewardship of trails in and around Atlanta.
